The month of August is for the kids. I found out about Cooper and Grayson when I saw a flyer for a race at Sand Mountain Dragway later this month. Cooper is fighting leukemia and Grayson was born with hydrocephalus. The race at Sand Mountain Dragway is actually a benefit race to help out the families. Cooper will be finishing up with chemo and Grayson will be getting ready for his 24th brain surgery coming up in September. We decided that instead of just helping out with the Sand Mountain race, we would step up to the plate and donate a percentage of our sales for the month of August to help out the families of Cooper and Grayson.
UPDATE
We were able to donate $500 total, $250 to each family for the month of August to help out with their medical expenses.
Grayson had his 24th brain and head surgery on Sept. 13, 2016. It went well and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. If you would like to follow his progress on Facebook, you can find his story at:
